Secure Digital or SD memory cards are a very popular in several consumer Electronic devices. Most Compact and point and shoot digital Cameras make use of Secure Digital Memory Cards. SD cards are also used in devices such as PDA's, GPS's and MP3 Players.

Newer Devices such as the Latest mobile phones make use of either Mini or Micro SD cards. These cards use the same memory technology as the full-sized Secure Digital Memory cards but are in either a 1/2 sized (mini SD) or approx 1/4 sized (microSD) package. Mobile Phones make use of the Memory Cards for you to store MP3's and Photo's on them from their built-in camera.
